4. Eatery Reservation Policy

We value your patronage. Here are our reservation terms:

  • Walk-ins: Always welcome. We will always try to accommodate you.
  • Reservations: Recommended for groups of 6 or more, or for special occasions.
  • Cancellations: We have a flexible cancellation policy. If your plans change, simply let us know as soon as possible via WhatsApp at +27 79 680 6050. We appreciate the courtesy of advance notice so we can reallocate your table.
  • No-Shows: Repeated no-shows without notice may affect future reservation privileges.

5. Goods & Services ("Voetstoots")

Our antiques, vinyls, books, and other collectibles are often vintage or second-hand items. They are sold in their current condition, commonly referred to as "voetstoots" (as is).

  • We make every effort to accurately describe items, including any notable wear, damage, or imperfections.
  • We are happy to provide detailed photographs and information upon request before purchase.
  • It is the buyer's responsibility to inspect items before completing a purchase.

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the unique nature of our vintage and antique goods:

  • No Returns or Exchanges: All sales are final. We do not accept returns or offer exchanges.
  • Pre-Purchase Inquiries: We encourage you to ask questions and request detailed information or photos before making a purchase. Our team is happy to assist.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act where applicable.

7. Limitation of Liability

MelonRouge, its officers, directors, and employees shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of this website or our services. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by South African law.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
